Note To Self

From Kiroli

Ok, hypothetically speaking, if, at any time in the near future, I think that it's really nice outside and I want to do something nice for the terrors puppies, so I decide to take them to the park after work. Would somebody please remind me that I'm probably not the only one enjoying the weather. I mean, I like the weather, the puppies seem to like the weather, and, oh yeah, the mosquitoes are loving the weather too. Because I live in Louisiana, and it's September, and I go to the part just before dusk, and the park is by a pond! So maybe it would be a good idea to use some bugspray, because if I don't, there's a good chance that I will be followed by a swarm (I'm so not even exaggerating here) of the little blood suckers from the moment that I step out of my car to the moment that I get back in. This, by the way, seriously ups my chances of that whole West Nile Virus, which I'm so completely not ok with. Also, I'm not a fan of inhaling the bugs that have formed a cloud around me. I just don't like it! So anyway... if someone could just remind me of that. Hypothetically speaking. That would be great.

I hate mosquitoes. I was sitting in my living room, minding my own business, helping Kelsi with her Algebra and OW--there was a big-ole mosquito on my arm sucking away. One of those big stripy looking ones. UGH!! I'm afraid with all the standing water from the hurricanes, it's only going to get worse.

ROFL! I just posted a week or so ago about the bugs feasting on my skin here in TN. They are AWFUL. But I love the picture you have on there!

I hope you enjoyed your time - bug bites and all.

Love the picture. I so hate mosquitoes. That is one thing I do like about fall here. The days are nice, evenings are cooling off, and the darn things are slowly dying off.

Love your heart...and I will remind you.

Tuesday night the girls were outside right around twilight...the mosquitoes don't bother Libbey, but they feast on me and Caroline. I realized I'd been bitten about 5 times in 2 minutes, and saw Caroline scratching, too. By the time I got us inside and started bathing the kids, Caroline had ginormous welps on her knees, her left arm, and behind her right thigh...they are the size of a small plum, kid you not. PITIFUL! Darn 'squitoes. I hate 'em. They feasted on my baby. I just put Benadryl ointment on them and she said, "Thank you, Mommy. I'm hurtin'."

Sob.

Mosquitoes are terrible right now, but I have something that may help you. I sell Avon and it is a known fact that their Skin So Soft products keep the critters away. If you bathe with any of them or use the bath oil spray before going outside, it seems to really work! If you are interested, just click on the button on my sidebar of my blog page and you can check it out for yourself. Good luck!

Mosquitoes love me. I'm very aware that they can swarm, and it's awful! Much worse than bees, I think. Darn bloodsuckers.

So, yes, remember to wear bug spray!

I've been attacked every night in my sleep. I wake up kicking and scratching and moaning. My darling husband told me that it was all in my head (he hasn't been bitten) until he saw the WELPS ON MY FACE. what kind of heinous beast bites you in the face while you're asleep?!??

as i was scrolling down i see you have a twilight poster & countdown up on sidebar...so cool! while i didn't find the 1st book super-well-written...the concept is perfect, storyline emaculate, and I'm TOTALLY reeled in also. i am already trying to figure out if i can ask my hubby to stop by borders and pick up book #2 while he waits for our to-go meal at chilis for tonight! hahaha
